Die magische Villa Montanare ist ein alleinstehendes Bauernhaus aus dem Jahre 1640. Es wurde seinerzeit von der Familie Fabbri aus Florenz gebaut, die während des Aufruhrs zwischen den Guelfen (Anhänger vom Papst) und Ghibellinen (Anhänger vom Kaiser) nach Cortona zog.
Die Villa liegt auf einem Hügel mit Blick auf einen atemberaubenden Panoramablick auf das Val d’Esse und das Valdichiana-Tal, umgeben von einer paradiesischen Vielfalt an Pflanzen wie Zypressen, Pinien, Feigen, Obstbäumen, Rosmarinbüschen, Lavendel, Oleander, Kakteen, alten Oliven Terrassen mit Steinmauern.

The magical Villa Montanare, a stand-alone farmhouse est.1640, was built by the family Fabbri from Florence who moved to Cortona during the turmoil between the Guelphs and Ghibellines.
